The series is based very loosely on the book series of the same name by Mélanie Watt. The series premiered on August 09, 2011, in the United States. The series is picked up by Cartoon Network. - Scaredy - Scaredy is a quirky squirrel with a great sense of responsibility and adventure. He works as a head stacker at Stash "N" Hoard. He is a character that is based on the book series by Mélanie Watt.
- Nestor - Nestor is a yellow chicken who is a manager of Stash "N" Hoard. He despises Scaredy but he helps him on an occasion.
- David - David is a blue skunk who is Scaredy's best friend. He usually helps Scaredy leave his comfort zone. Though, it ends in everything going horribly wrong.
- Sally - Sally is a trout who is madly in love with Scaredy. Even to the point of stalking him but oftentimes, Sally does not help out when Scaredy is in need.
- Momma - Momma is the mother of Nestor and owner of Stash "N" Hoard. She appears at any given moment, yelling and likes to fire people.
- Paddy - Paddy is a ferret who is mischievous and rude. He hates Scaredy and always try to make his life miserable.
- Richard - Richard is Scaredy's plant who does not do anything and yet got a lot of personality.
