Scaredy Squirrel is the American television series that follows the quirky misadventures of the squirrel of the same name. The series is based very loosely on the book series of the same name by Mélanie Watt. The series premiered on August 16, 2011 and ended on September 17, 2014 in the United States. The series is picked up by Cartoon Network. Soon, the series is dropped. It is currently available on Prime Video, and Tubi.

Scaredy Squirrel usually starts with a squirrel of the same name carrying out the theme song that is followed by words of his wisdom. Then the theme song is followed by sentences that are warning, Scaredy Squirrel is based on a character by Mélanie Watt and then the theme song is opened with the title card of each episode. The series is rated TV-Y7-FV and there are three seasons with the total of fifty-two episodes.

- Scaredy - Scaredy is a quirky squirrel with a great sense of responsibility and adventure, and as in his name, he can get scared and is a germaphobe. He works as a head stacker at Stash "N" Hoard. He is a character that is based on the book series by Mélanie Watt.
- Nestor - Nestor is a yellow canary who is the manager of Stash "N" Hoard. He despises Scaredy but he helps him on an occasion.
- David Weeb - David is a blue skunk who is Scaredy's best friend. He is basically the opposite of Scaredy, as in he is not careful, and he is not afraid to get dirty. He usually helps Scaredy leave his comfort zone. Though, it ends in everything going horribly wrong.
- Sally Fishlips - Sally is a trout who is madly in love with Scaredy. Even to the point of stalking him but oftentimes, Sally does not help out when Scaredy is in need.
- Momma - Momma is the mother of Nestor and owner of Stash "N" Hoard. She appears at any given moment, yelling and likes to fire people.
- Paddy Patterson - Paddy is a ferret who is mischievous and rude. He hates Scaredy and always tries to make his life miserable.
- Richard - Richard is Scaredy's plant who does not do anything and yet got a lot of personality.
